Helping girls and women fulfill their dreams
What? Provide publicly available scholarships, awards, bursaries, and other forms of financial assistance to Egyptian female students facing financial challenges that may prevent them from pursuing their university studies.
Why? Dr. Fatima Amer's dream was to help Egyptian girls and women, who face an uphill challenge to complete their higher education, as she did.
Who? In Dr. Fatima Amer's name and to honor her hard work throughout her life, defying multiple challenges, to become a distinguished researcher, university professor and academic.
Important to Remember:
Girls and women are always at a lower priority in most Egyptian families. When a choice has to be made between the boys' and girls' education the male will most probably be the one chosen. This is why our work is of extreme importance..
Together, we will make a significant difference in the lives of young girls, empowering them to thrive and fulfill their dreams.
تكريما للراحلة الدكتورة فاطمة عامر التي عملت بجد طوال حياتها لتصبح باحثة متميزة وأستاذة جامعية وأكاديمية مرموقة برغم ما واجهت من صعوبات وتحديات، أنشأنا جمعية خيرية لمساعدة النساء والفتيات في مواجهة التحديات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية ، وإكمال تعليمهن وتحقيق إمكاناتهن. كانت الدكتورة فاطمة عامر من أوائل النساء اللاتي تخرجن من كلية العلوم جامعة القاهرة (1941) وواحدة من أوائل النساء المصريات اللواتي حصلن على درجة الدكتوراه من المملكة المتحدة (جامعة ساوثهامبتون ، 1955) . الدكتورة فاطمة عامر واجهت خلال رحلتها العديد من العقبات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية التي لم يكن من السهل التغلب عليها. كان حلمها أن تساعد الفتيات والنساء المصريات اللائي يواجهن حتى اليوم نفس التحديات التي واجهتها ، لتحقيق أحلامهن
